Federal, state and local incentives can reduce the cost of purchasing or leasing a used EV from us by thousands of dollars. The eligibility rules and application processes vary from program to program, and can be quite complex. We work with you to make sure the process goes smoothly and you get the maximum allowable benefit.
The chart below displays the discounted cost of a used $20,000 (pre-tax) EV for a family of four with a relatively-modest annual income (less than $140,000) in San Mateo County. After Federal, PG&E and PCE incentives, the $20,000 EV only costs $10,000. The incentives available in other locations and for other income groups may be somewhat more or somewhat less.
Highlights of a few key incentives programs available to residents of the SF Bay Area are provided below. Be sure to review terms and conditions carefully yourself.
